Be Body Positive

Be Body Positive Day is on Aug. 7!  Can I get a hell to the yeah?!

I recently learned about this great org, The Body Positive, and was so stoked (yes, people still say that — or at least one person does) to find out about Be Body Positive Day.  You can check out the video below for more info about this awesomesauce!

One of the lovely things about this day is a challenge to do one thing that makes you feel great about your body.  What will you do?  I’d say a little yoga is in store for me . . .

Need some other ideas?  You’re in luck!  Here’s a list of 15 fun possibilites:

  1. Two words: bubble bath
  2. Get out your favorite nail polish & go wild
  3. Get a massage — even better, give & get one from a loved one
  4. Eat your favorite in-season fruit
  5. Wear something fabulous
  6. Go dancing
  7. Do a heart opening meditation
  8. Journal
  9. Give legs-up-the-wall a spin for five minutes (or more)
  10. Savasana with an eye pillow
  11. Bust out your creativity
  12. Write a letter to a friend (bonus points for lovely stationary)
  13. Make a cup of your favorite tea & enjoy it in a cozy spot
  14. Cut some fresh flowers & put them in a vase
  15. Share Be Body Positive Day with a friend (or 50)

Phew! Glad I caught news of this just in time. My day will start with the Farmer’s Market, who knows where it will go from there? Thanks for the news!
