What I want to say about Love Your Body Day is that it doesn’t have to feel scary.
It doesn’t have to be about lavishing adoration on every inch of your glorious skin…although it could be.
It also doesn’t have to be about drawing an outline of your body and labeling the parts you love…although it could be.
It doesn’t even have to be about saying the words, in your head or out loud, “I love my body”…although it could be.
What I want to say about Love Your Body Day is that, while the emphasis often goes to the Love part of the equation, I think it should really be on Your.
Because loving your body probably won’t look like loving anyone else’s.
Because maybe the way you show your body love is with one deep breath.
Because while you might not be ready to love your body, perhaps you can show your body some small kindness today.
LOVE Your Body Day.
Love Your BODY Day.
Love YOUR Body Day.
What I want to say about Love Your Body Day is that it’s up to you. Which is what it’s all about in the first place.
